Over the last 2 years since we sold Bulkregister.com I have attended 14 domain shows and collected business cards and emails of about 2000 people in the domain industry. I like to make it my business to know "who is who" and "who buys what." With some upcoming marketing I expect to have over 4,000 potential buyers/sellers signed up. I think we have the 2nd best list of domainers available who will buy a domain at a reasonable price. Sellers send me your “priced to sell” domains for consideration. Buyers sign up to see what domain is next. Domains for sale will only be featured in the email newsletter.

John McCain has never sent an email and that is not a joke

May 29th, 2008 · 7 Comments

Are internet skills needed to live, work, play and govern in this day and age? You guys can debate but I was pretty amazed that the guy has not been on the internet or sent a single email. I think it causes a problem for him to understand how business, commerce and communication is conducted around the world these days.

Very interesting point. Even Michelle Obama sends e-mails to “the list”. They are usually very personal in nature, relating a tidbit or two about her husband that you don’t hear from the news.
The latest one was about Barack being nervous before stepping out onto the stage before a big speech and she told him, “Don’t blow it”.
She said it made him laugh, and then she asked for a campaign contribution and said that they would be giving 10 backstage passes away to the speech in Denver out of those people responding to her e-mail.
    Pretty convincing stuff…

    Great Cartoon there.

It is good to know what knowledge some of the Politicians have when it comes to the ONLINE world.

Amazing. I want to read more. Do you want to write more about it?

Unfortunately that is not the whole story. McCain does understand the Internet, but due to war injuries he cannot operate the keyboard. His assistants do it for him. We have to be careful with soundbite journalism.

It was taken right out of major news articles from CNN and others. It was also a CNN story on TV.

I found this headline with quick google search

John McCain ‘technology illiterate’ doesn’t email or use internet
Senator John McCain, the Republican presidential candidate, has admitted that he never uses email and that his staff has to show him websites because he is only just “learning to get online myself”.

Obama can’t even operate a fighter jet !

Too busy hanging out with and/or getting mentored by hateful people like Luis Farrakhan and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Also, spending more time on being concerned the rights of terrorists targeting to kill us than worrying about our safety.
